Mr Mamoun Abdel-Rahman
Biography:
Mr Abdel-Rahman, HSE Consultant Urological Surgeon graduated from the University of Khartoum in 2002. He was enrolled in the RCSI specialist Surgical Training followed by Speciality Training in Urology. Going forward he rotated between some of the major Irish teaching hospitals to complete the Surgical Training in Urology starting in Limerick and moving on to Dublin and Cork. In 2015 Mr. Abdel-Rahman obtained his master degree in Urology (ChM) from the University of Edinburgh. Then obtained the Intercollegiate Fellowship in Urology in 2016 and qualified as a Urology Specialist in 2018.
Mr Abdel-Rahman worked as senior fellow in the National Centre for Kidney Transplant in Beaumont Hospital where he also did a period as a Consultant Urologist.
Areas of interest include general male and female Urology, kidney cancer, bladder cancer and hematuria investigations, prostate cancer diagnostics, kidney stones and general pediatric urology.
